“Confluence – A Festival of India” stepped on the shores of Australia for the first time in 2016. It enthralled the Australians for more than 7 weeks in 7 cities. It was hailed as the biggest ever foreign festival in Australia. Confluence brought governments, institutions, artistes and the people of India and Australia together on a single stage in every city celebrating diversity and inclusivity like never before. People imbibed, participated, enjoyed and craved for more.

It is with immense pleasure that I invite you to Confluence – 2017, which will be hosted in September-October 2017. Our endeavour would be to give you more in terms of experience and quality. I also hope that our continued commitment will strengthen the bonds of friendship and partnerships forged earlier and make new relationships. We believe that Confluence would deepen the roots of collaboration between India and Australia not only in the cultural space but also in business, education, trade, and tourism. Confluence once again promises a great fair of extraordinary dance, music, theatre and literature. Come and participate in this journey of creative sharing, singing and dancing into the future.
